Film Showing at Blue Hill Library



BLUE HILL — “Budrus” is a documentary film about the nonviolent struggle of one West Bank Palestinian community to stop the Apartheid Wall from cutting through village lands.

The film will be shown at the Blue Hill Public Library at 7 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 2. The film features a Palestinian community organizer, Ayed Morrar, his 15-year-old daughter Iltezam and an Israeli border police captain, Yasmine Levy. Iltezam organized other Palestinian women who moved to the front of the demonstrations.

The film is part of Peninsula Peace & Justice’s fall film series. All are welcome.
