SOUTHWEST HARBOR — The Boards of Directors of the Acadia Family Center and the MDI Alcohol & Drug Abuse Group, Inc. invite the community to attend their open house and annual meeting on Thursday, April 16, at 1 Fernald Point Road.
From 3:30 – 5:30 p.m. the public is welcome to tour the outpatient substance abuse treatment facility, meet the administrative and clinical staff and ask questions about the latest in prevention and treatment on Mount Desert Island. Counselors will be available to answer questions and give brief educational presentations.
Guests are invited to stay and attend the Annual Board of Directors meetings for the MDI Alcohol & Drug Abuse Group and The Acadia Family Center starting at 6:30 p.m. MDI Group’s mission is to support education, prevention and treatment of substance abuse and related mental health disorders.
