SURRY — The Old Surry Village School Preservation Group will hold its 4th Annual Fall Festival from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 5, at the Old Surry Village School.
The festival will feature arts and crafts booths, a silent auction of Surry products, a white elephant sale, a bake sale, barbecued pulled-pork lunches and apple cider pressing.
Children’s activities will include storytelling by Marjorie Longwood from 11 a.m. to noon. Longwood will be reading from children’s books from the early 20th century. There will also be face painting, pumpkin decorating, a petting zoo and more.
Music will be provided by the Brooklin Town Band and tours of the school will be offered.
Admission to the festival is free and does not include any food or craft purchases. The school is located on the corner of Route 172 and Toddy Pond Road in Surry.
