Events Slated At St. Andrew

ELLSWORTH — St. Andrew Luthern Church in Ellsworth has several upcoming events.

The church’s annual rummage sale will be held on Saturday, July 11, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.

All proceeds will benefit the church’s mission and ministry efforts with its mission partners, the Episcopal and Lutheran churches in Honduras.

The church will also be having a benefit supper on Friday, July 17.

Casseroles and covered dishes, desserts and salads will be on the menu.

All proceeds will go to The Ark Animal Shelter in Cherryfield.

St. Andrew also invites all children ages 5 to 10 or so to participate in “Camp Creation,” which will be held on five consecutive Thursdays from July 16 to Aug. 13. The camp will run from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. each day.

There will be music, arts and crafts, stories and snacks, games and gardening.

Registration forms are available at the church office, which is open Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The cost is $25 with a maximum of $50 per family.

Scholarships are available.
