Emergency Groups To Receive Funds



ELLSWORTH — The Hancock County Emergency Food & Shelter Board has announced that Hancock County has been chosen to receive $15,000 to supplement emergency food and shelter programs in the area.

 

A meeting will be held to allocate these funds on Wednesday, May 26, at 10 a.m. at the Washington Hancock Community Agency, 248 Bucksport Road in Ellsworth.

A local board will determine how the funds awarded to Hancock County are to be divided among the emergency food and shelter programs run by local service organizations in the area.
