Economic Forecast Focus of MMA Talk



CASTINE — Maine Maritime Academy’s Loeb-Sullivan School of International Business and Logistics will host a return lecture by Jerry A. Bazata, vice president for global commercial business banking for Bank of America-Northeast, on Monday, Nov. 7, at 4 p.m. in the Delano Auditorium.

Bazata’s presentation topic, “State of the U.S. Economy: Looking Toward the Future,” will center on the outlook for businesses and the U.S. economy, followed by an extended question-and-answer session. The entire community is encouraged to participate in this event.

Bazata has more than 25 years of experience in retail and business sales management, strategic planning, business development and leadership for leading financial institutions. He is a recognized speaker and published author on the topics of banking, finance, sales management and marketing.

The lecture is free and open to the public.
