DownEaster Egg Hunt set in Stonington

STONINGTON — The second annual Great DownEaster Egg Hunt is scheduled for Saturday, March 31, at 2 p.m. in Stonington.

The event will kick off at the Island Community Center with an Easter egg basket decorating craft session. Participants will also be able to play Easter egg (cupcake) bingo with Island Adult and Community Education.

At 2:45, the Stonington Public Library will host an Easter storytelling event, while across the street, Penobscot Bay Press hosts coloring and crafts.

At 3, children can head over to Camden Bank to get their pictures taken with the Easter Bunny, before parading through downtown Stonington and collecting presents and goodies from local businesses.

At 3:30 at the Stonington Opera House, the event concludes with the Great DownEaster Egg Hunt, which will take place all through the Opera House building.
