MOUNT DESERT — The Downeast Dog Scouts’ September activity will be a Carriage Road walk in Acadia National Park on Sunday, Sept. 12.
Plans are to meet at the Jordan Pond Boat Ramp/Nature Trail Parking Area off the Park Loop Road at 10:30 a.m.
Owners and their dogs can walk about 1.5 miles or continue on the Carriage Roads for a longer walk.
The Downeast Dog Scouts bring people and dogs together to learn, socialize and help in the community.
