Dog Scouts Troop Meets April 5



MOUNT DESERT — Downeast Dog Scouts Troop No. 159 will hold its next meeting on Sunday, April 5, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Mount Desert Fire Department’s Somesville station.

Lynn and Robert Boulier, founders of Tail Waggin’ Training Center in Levant, will provide an informational program regarding service dogs. Trained service dogs assist individuals with physical, neurological and social challenges.

The Downeast Dog Scouts Troop is a membership organization in Hancock County that promotes responsible dog ownership and increases the awareness of the human/canine bond.

Anyone interested in learning more about service dogs and/or the Downeast Dog Scouts is welcome to attend the meeting.
