GOULDSBORO — This year’s Maine Coastal Clean Up Day will be on Saturday, Sept. 22, starting at the Gouldsboro Town Hall at 9 a.m.
Volunteers are urged to sign up ahead of time either at the town office or with members of the Solid Waste Committee.
Residents who live along the shore and have shore-related debris to dispose of may put it curbside and volunteers will retrieve it Saturday, Sept. 22.
Residents must notify the town office by Sept. 20-21 if they have waterfront refuse to pick up.
The cleanup will begin at the east end of town and will include Sally Island, Gouldsboro Bay, Corea and possibly a few outer islands.
