Church Day Camp Starts June 27

BLUE HILL — Peaceable Kingdom is a day camp held at the First Congregational Church of Blue Hill. Children ages 5 to 10 are invited to the weeklong camp June 27 through July 1 from 9 a.m. to noon. There is flexibility with the age range.

The venture is designed to be fun, creative and educational for all involved. Outdoor and indoor games and creative activities on the vast theme of nature will be part of the rhythm of the day.

The camp staff includes experienced, state-certified and church-certified teachers.

Campers can look forward to a scavenger hunt, walks in nature and along the water, tea-making from fresh herbs, singing and group and individual creative projects.

There will be a presentation to families and friends at the end of the week.

The camp will be held at the church. Indoor activities will be held in the church’s fellowship hall.

There is no fee for the camp, although donations are welcome.
