Children’s Fair to Launch Born Learning Campaign

BUCKSPORT — This year’s Annual Children’s Fair is the product of a partnership among the Bucksport Bay Early Childhood Network, part of the Healthy Communities Coalition, the United Way of Eastern Maine and the Child Care Opportunities Resource Development Center.

The fair will be held on Saturday, May 2, from 9 to 11:30 a.m. at the Jewett School on Bridge Street.

The event will focus on the importance of parental interaction with children. The theme, “Everyday Moments Matter,” emphasizes the fact that learning starts long before school does.

The fair gives parents the opportunity to connect with different community organizations and resources. There are also activities, including music and prizes for all.
