SOUTHWEST HARBOR — Harbor House Children’s Center is going back to school for its 23rd consecutive year, featuring new and expanded programs for children from 18 months to 5 years old.
“Learning is not limited to our indoor, state-of-the-art child care center, but teachers will also take the classroom out into the recently completed natural PlayGarden,” a Harbor House spokesman said.
Families are welcome to stop by for a tour of the Children’s Center and to meet the staff. To help ease first-day jitters, Children’s Center students and their families are invited to share cookies and milk in pajamas on Labor Day from 6 to 7 p.m.
Tuition assistance is available through the State of Maine and the center’s Helping Hand Fellowship scholarship fund. For more information, contact Mary Ellen at 244-9824 or [email protected].
