HANCOCK — In partnership with the Wendell Gilley Museum, the Frenchman Bay Conservancy is sponsoring a bird carving workshop on Thursday, Aug. 22, at 4 p.m. at the Tidal Falls Preserve in Hancock.
Experienced carver Steve Valleau will lead the workshop. He will provide a wooden blank to begin the workshop and guide participants through the steps of carving their very own wooden bird.
A fee of $20 covers the cost of blanks. The workshop is limited to six participants.
