Carnival to Aid Cancer Victim

ELLSWORTH — The first annual children’s carnival for 11 year-old Sherri Hill, who has brain cancer, will be held Saturday, June 18, from noon to 4 p.m. at the Elks Lodge. All proceeds will benefit Hill.


Water gun games, bowling and ring toss will be some of the games, along with a bounce house and face painting. Yummy carnival food such as hot dogs, hamburgers, chips, sno cones, etc. will be available. There will also be prizes and raffles for children and adults. The cost is $5 per child or $20 per family.
