BAR HARBOR — The 7th annual American Cancer Society Downeast Living With Cancer Conference will be held on Friday, Nov. 15, at the Atlantic Oceanside Hotel & Conference Center in Bar Harbor.
The conference will run from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
The conference is a free, daylong program for cancer patients, family members, caregivers and medical professionals. This year’s conference theme is “Looking Forward: New Hope for the Future.”
The keynote speaker is Dr. Thomas Openshaw, director of oncology research at Eastern Maine Medical Center’s CancerCare of Maine.
There also are numerous vendor exhibits, and participants can sign up for individual relaxation sessions on the day of the conference.
