BUCKSPORT — A woman was allegedly assaulted by her boyfriend’s mother and sister at a River Road residence June 14, according to police.

Police said the woman was allegedly restrained and punched repeatedly.

Cynthia Robinson, 48, of Bucksport was arrested on a charge of domestic assault. Jaimie Field, 28, of Bucksport was summoned on a charge of assault.

The victim was treated at the scene.

Suspicious Conditions

Police pulled 17 marijuana plants from a property on Green Road June 12.

According to police, the property owners discovered the plants and called police. Police notified the Maine Drug Enforcement Agency.

A man reported finding what he thought was cocaine in a vehicle he had bought June 13.

The suspected drugs turned out to be a piece of plastic, according to police.

Police have been asked to monitor a bus shelter at Knox View Apartments after reports that children found used condoms and that teenagers had been drinking there.

Police are investigating a June 9 report that someone tampered with and stole the keys from a mini excavator parked at the industrial park.

Kristopher Gilbert, 22, Bucksport, operating after revocation.

Jonathan Hayes, 21, Bucksport, state police warrant for robbery and terrorizing.

Devin Bridges, 20, Bucksport, warrant for failure to appear.

Jason Keene, 24, Bucksport, violation of bail conditions.

John Hunt, 18, Bucksport, domestic assault, criminal mischief.


A Route 46 resident reported the theft of a gas grill, a box of lesbian pornography, yarn and a canoe paddle from her garage June 9.

The woman later found the grill, which had been misplaced.


A Hampden Water District vehicle collided with a deer on Route 46 June 12, according to police.

Damage to the 2008 GMC pickup was estimated at $2,000.

The driver was Jamie Holyoke, 29, of Holden.

Two vehicles collided while making left turns from opposite sides of Route 1 June 11, according to police.

There was an estimated $50 in damage to a 1994 Dodge pickup operated by Merton Hanscom, 58, of Bucksport.

A 2001 Nissan driven by Robin Glidden, 43, of Bucksport sustained an estimated $5,000 in damage.

An estimated $2,000 in damage was reported following an accident in the high school parking lot June 9.

Police said Megan Benson, 18, of Bucksport backed her 2003 Chevrolet pickup into a parked 1997 four-door.

Criminal Trespass

Police were summoned to Hannaford June 14 after a man allegedly tried to snatch a cigarette from an employee on a break.

The same man later walked into a stranger’s Route 1 home unannounced, according to police.

He left before officers arrived.

A rental company employee faces charges after allegedly refusing to leave a Main Street residence June 13, according to police.

Police said a woman reported that the rental company employee showed up at her home while she was at work and a babysitter was at the home with her children. She said the man refused to leave when asked.

Russell Hatch, 39, of Bangor was summoned on a charge of criminal trespass.

A man hired to clean a foreclosed Route 46 property was alarmed to find three people on four-wheelers on the property June 8.

Police said they were neighbors looking for cats.


Police confiscated drug paraphernalia found at the scene of a fire on Bucksmills Road June 12.

A warning was issued.


Two kayaks valued at $300 and $180 were reported stolen from a Route 46 camp June 12.

A man reported his girlfriend’s purse stolen from their vehicle when it was parked at Bucksport High School June 11.


About $30 in damage was reported to a vehicle window on Second Street June 9.

Phone Harassment

A woman reported receiving harassing text messages from a cousin and his girlfriend June 11.

All parties were warned to have no further contact.
