Blue Hill Library Holiday Party Set

BLUE HILL — The Blue Hill Library’s annual free holiday party will offer entertainment for the whole family.

The party, scheduled for Sunday, Dec. 13, from 2 to 4 p.m., will also include free refreshments.

Entertainment highlights include Ellacapella, a 15-member women’s singing group from the Blue Hill Peninsula, and Scot Cannon, a mime from Belfast who trained with the legendary Marcel Marceau.

To top off the celebration, Blue Hill residents Ed Schneider and Ralph Pettie, along with Peter Beaven of Brooksville, will read Dickens’ “A Christmas Carol.”

The party is sponsored by the Friends of the Blue Hill Library, a volunteer group that raises funds to help the library provide a variety of programs.

Contact the library for Friends membership and volunteer information.
