BLUE HILL — Blue Hill Heritage Trust will hold its 26th annual membership meeting on Wednesday, Sept. 7, at 5:30 p.m. at Kneisel Hall, 137 Pleasant St. in Blue Hill.
A reception with drinks and hors d’oeuvres will be followed by a business meeting, including a report on recent land projects.
A highlight of this year’s meeting will be a presentation of three-dimensional photography by Roger Richmond. Richmond, a professor of architecture at the University of Maine at Augusta, has been a 3-D photographer for over 25 years and has given hundreds of three-dimensional photographic presentations to organizations statewide and throughout New England.
Three-dimensional photography is spatial and differs from “flat” 2-D photography by bringing more information to the eye and mind of the viewer. The presentation will give viewers (who will be provided with special 3-D glasses) a new perspective on the Blue Hill Peninsula.
The public is welcome to attend the meeting.
