Bar Harbor Times Replaces Editor

BAR BARBOR — Camden-based Village Soup announced Tuesday that Holly Anderson, daughter of company owner Richard Anderson, is the new editor of the Bar Harbor Times. Ms. Anderson, a former Chicago resident who began her duties on Monday, did not return a request for comment.

She previously worked as interim editor at Village Soup’s Belfast paper.

She replaces Greg Fish of Ellsworth who has been editor at the Times for the past eight years. Mr. Fish reportedly was told in a meeting on Jan. 8 that the company wanted to take things in a different direction. Mr. Fish declined comment.
