Authors, Movie at Blue Hill Library



BLUE HILL — Sedgwick cookbook author and award-winning food journalist Brooke Dojny and her son, Matt Dojny, who has just debuted his first novel and lives in Brooklyn, N.Y., will discuss their recently published books on Tuesday, Aug. 14, at 7 p.m. at the Blue Hill Public Library.

Both Dojnys will interview each other and talk about the writing process.

Brooke Dojny, a James Beard Award-winning cookbook author, specializes in New England cooking and has recently published “Lobster!: 55 Fresh & Simple Recipes for Everyday Eating.”

Matt Dojny’s book, “The Festival of Earthly Delights,” is a seriocomic novel set in an imaginary Southeast Asian country.

Books will be available at the event for sale and signing.

The library will also be hosting a free family movie night on Thursday, Aug. 16, at 6:30 p.m.

The event will feature free popcorn and a showing of the film “Muppets from Space.”

The film will be shown in the library’s Howard Room.
