BLUE HILL — Blue Hill Books is hosting a reading by Terry Tempest Williams, author of the environmental classic “Refuge” and the memoir “When Women Were Birds,” on Tuesday, Aug. 9, at The Bay School’s Emlen Hall.
Williams’ new book, “The Hour of Land, A Personal Topography of America’s National Parks, is a literary portrait of 12 parks, and why wild lands matter.
The reading is free and open to the public. Books will be available for purchase.
