ELLSWORTH — Downeast Audubon is sponsoring a free program on Thursday, April 15, at the Ellsworth Unitarian Universalist Church.
The program is titled “Tales from Acadia Wildlife Foundation,” featuring speaker Ann Rivers.
There will be a social at 7 p.m., followed by the program at 7:30.
Acadia Wildlife Foundation is a nonprofit clinic, founded in 1994 in Mount Desert by Rivers.
The foundation’s mission is to care for injured and orphaned native wildlife, with the goal of releasing healthy animals back into the wild.
Rivers will share photos of some of her recent patients, which range from bats and otters to eagles and turtles.
