BAR HARBOR — Acadia Community Theater (ACT) is staging a production of “It’s a Wonderful Life” at the Criterion Theater in Bar Harbor on Friday, Dec. 4 and at The Neighborhood House in Northeast Harbor on Friday, Dec. 11th and Saturday, Dec. 12.
It tells the story of George Bailey, a kind of Everyman, who in a moment of despair during the holidays believes the world would be better off if he were never born; and how the angel Clarence helps him see things differently.
The ACT production is a play in two acts based on the classic Frank Capra movie and is directed by Mark Puglisi.
