BAR HARBOR — On Friday, Oct. 19, from noon to 1 p.m., Acadia Senior College will host some of those involved in the Kenyan effort to help orphans whose parents have died of AIDS.
There will be no lunch served at this meeting, which is free and open to the public by reservation.
Speakers will be Dorothy Selebwa, who is from Kenya, and Judith Bradshaw Brown of Bar Harbor.
Selebwa is the founder and director of the Kakamega Care Centre Orphan Project. Brown serves on the organization’s board.
