Pulver named Lamoine Citizen of the Year

LAMOINE — Bob Pulver received an unusual birthday present at the Lamoine Town Meeting March 21. He was named Citizen of the Year by the town selectmen.

Pulver was given a proclamation and a plaque just before the start of the meeting, which took place on his birthday.

Pulver currently serves on the Lamoine School Committee and Lamoine’s Community Center Feasibility Study Committee. He also was one of the founding members of the Lamoine Conservation Commission.

A retired school administrator, Pulver and wife, Georgianna, relocated to Lamoine when they retired and began volunteering in the community.
