A historic race in Sedgwick

Sedgwick Elementary School Principal Don “Dr. B” Buckingham challenged a group of 40 students to race against him Nov. 1 on the school’s 1.5-mile long fitness trail. The race was the 10th annual event. For the first time ever, every student running beat Buckingham, who is retiring at the end of the school year. There was a tie for first place between students Kove Nevells and Dominick Simmons with a time of 11:42.
