Wireless Zone celebrates grand reopening in new location



ELLSWORTHWireless Zone, the nation’s largest Verizon franchisor, has announced the reopening of its Ellsworth wireless retail store, now located at 1 High St. The store, owned and operated by ownership group Epic Communications LLC, was moved from its original location at 139 High St. to better serve its customers across the area.

To celebrate this opening, the Ellsworth store team is holding a weekend full of events and promotions, including collecting donations in support of Families First Community Center throughout. The weekend kicks off with a grand opening event and ribbon cutting ceremony at 11 a.m. on Friday, June 24, followed by a community barbecue on Saturday, June 25, which will feature a Jason Aldean concert ticket giveaway. To conclude the weekend on Sunday, June 26, the store will host a 25 percent off accessory sale along with a host of other new promotions.

“As we settle into our new location here in Ellsworth, our team is excited to celebrate with and help the people in Downeast Maine find the devices and solutions to stay connected with their friends and loved ones,” said Ed Meo of Epic Communications LLC. “We look forward to further engaging with our neighbors across the area through this relocated store, especially with our grand opening weekend.”

Epic Communications LLC currently owns and operates five stores across Maine and Wireless Zone as a franchisor operates eight total across the Pine Tree State.
