Winter Harbor Police Log Week of Sept. 2



WINTER HARBOR — A naked man was reportedly walking in the woods and in the water near Steamboat Lane on Aug. 18. When Officer Eli Brown arrived, the man had left.

Harassment

Brown took a report Aug. 15 of a former employee leaving harassing phone messages to a former employer.

Traffic issues

A woman reported to Brown Aug. 15 that she was nearly involved in a collision on Main Street because a car was parked illegally on a street corner. The parked vehicle was gone by the time Brown arrived.

Assisting Gouldsboro police, Chief Danny Mitchell, Jr. responded to an accident involving a car and motorcycle on Clinic Road in Gouldsboro Aug. 16.

Brown responded to a single bicycle crash on Grindstone Avenue near Bunker Road Aug. 18. Schoodic EMS transported the patient to a local hospital.

Unattended death

Winter Harbor Police responded to an unattended death on Belleview Avenue Aug. 24. Schoodic EMS and Gouldsboro Police assisted.

Gunshots

Sergeant Philip Sargent responded to a report of gunshots near Summer Harbor Road Aug. 25.
