Winter Harbor Police Log Week of Oct. 21



WINTER HARBOR — Police Chief Danny Mitchell Jr. received a complaint Oct. 5 that someone was using a utility service without permission from its owner. Mitchell warned the person who was using the service that a summons for theft of services would be served if the behavior didn’t stop.

Suspicious activity

Suspicious activity was reported on Sargent Street Oct. 5 by a resident who thought that somebody was inside a home without permission. Officer Eli Brown responded to the scene and discovered that the person at the residence had permission to be there.

Arrests

Officer Ken Schuurman arrested Jeremy Everly, 40, of Winter Harbor Oct. 8 on charges of operating an unregistered motor vehicle and driving without a license. Everly also was summoned on a charge of not being able to show proof of insurance.

Children on motorcycle

Brown received a report Oct. 10 that a man had two children on a motorcycle downtown. Brown checked for the motorcycle but did not locate it.

Medical call

Police assisted Schoodic EMS with an ambulance call off Main Street Oct. 7. The male patient was transported to Northern Light Maine Coast Hospital.
