Water Tank Construction Complete

SOUTHWEST HARBOR — Construction of the town’s new 350,000-gallon water tank has been completed. Public works director Dave Corrigan said the company that built the tank will return in the spring to paint it.

Currently, another contractor is installing the underground pipes and constructing a small building to house the operating equipment for both the old and new water tanks.

“So far, everything is going smoothly with the project,” Mr. Corrigan told the board of selectmen Tuesday night.
