UPDATE: Still no sign of Missing Sorrento Teen

ELLSWORTH — Maine State Police say there have been no confirmed sightings of a missing 14-year-old girl from the town of Sorrento.

Police said Hanna Snider left her home sometime Saturday night. She was discovered missing on Sunday morning by her parents. She texted them later in the day saying she was OK and would be home later. State Police say Snider may have met up with someone she met on the online dating site myyearbook.com.  The State Police computer crimes unit is searching her school issued laptop.  They have also notified the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.

Snider is a student at Sumner Memorial High school and has not been heard from since the text to her parents on Sunday.

Police say Snider is 5-foot-6, 170 pounds, with dirty blonde hair with a touch of red and brown eyes.

Anyone with information on her whereabouts is asked to call state police in Orono at 866-2122.
