TREMONT — A Tremont woman suffered a head injury after her motorcycle crashed on Tremont Road Saturday just before noon.
Hancock County Deputy Luke Gross said Daniella Caruso, 24, was wearing a helmet.
Southwest Harbor Ambulance treated Caruso at the scene and she was then taken by LifeFlight to Eastern Maine Medical Center (EMMC), where she was treated and released, the deputy said.
The accident occurred after Caruso’s Harley Davidson drifted off the edge of the road where a portion of pavement was damaged.
This caused Caruso to lose control of the motorcycle, which fell over and skidded to a stop.
