Town Manager offers made

SOUTHWEST HARBOR — “There have been some offers made” to fill the town manager’s position, George Jellison, chairman of the board of selectmen here, said at a Nov. 10 meeting.

He declined to say how many offers had been made or whether they had been rejected or were still on the table.

Mr. Jellison said he hoped to have the manager’s job filled by the end of the year.

Former town manager Robin Bennett left the job June 30 after reaching a separation agreement with the selectmen. Code enforcement officer Don Lagrange has been serving as interim town manager.
