AUGUSTA — Members of the Appropriations Committee of the Maine Legislature met Tuesday for a work session to discuss their recommendation on putting before Maine voters a proposed bond issue of $3 million to support purchase of the former international ferry terminal from the Canadian government.

Bar Harbor Town Councilor Paul Paradis was present for the meeting, after having been invited to take part. The committee adjourned at 12:30 a.m. Wednesday without taking action, according to state Sen. Brian Langley (R-Hancock County).
