SURRY — Caleb Foster, 27, of Stonington was pronounced dead at the scene of a one-car accident Saturday night on Newbury Neck Road.
The Hancock County Sheriff’s Office reported that it had received an accident alert Saturday night at 9:25.
Investigators reported that a northbound 1997 Subaru Legacy operated by Steven Moon, 19, of Surry had left the road and rolled over several times before coming to rest.
The driver, Moon, and two passengers were ejected. Foster was pronounced dead at the scene. None of the individuals was wearing a seat belt.
The accident is under investigation.
