RCV programs set at area libraries April 27, 2018 on News, Politics GOULDSBORO — Three upcoming area programs will try to help residents better understand ranked choice voting. Christopher Cayer, field director of the Committee for Ranked Choice Voting, will discuss the subject in a talk at the Dorcas Library in Prospect Harbor on Saturday, May 5, from 12:30-2 p.m. For more information, call the library at 963-4027. A program on ranked choice voting is also scheduled for Saturday, May 5, at 1:30 p.m. at the Southwest Harbor Public Library. Those attending will have a chance to participate in a mock ranked choice ballot election and vote-counting exercise. Mike Hays, former board chairman of the Southwest Harbor Public Library, current board member and treasurer of the Bass Harbor Memorial Library and a longtime supporter of ranked choice voting, will lead the workshop.
