League of Women Voters offers ranked choice guide

ELLSWORTH — The League of Women Voters of Maine has developed an online guide for voters in preparation for the June 12 Maine primary elections: mainerankedchoice.vote.

Although the League has long advocated for the implementation of ranked choice voting, the online guide is intended to be an impartial “how to” guide to assist voters regardless of party affiliation or whether they like or dislike ranked choice voting.

“The Implement RCV project is exclusively educational and is not involved in the people’s veto campaign” according to the League.
