MOUNT DESERT – An Mount Desert Island man was killed when his motorcycle crashed on Route 3 in Seal Harbor. The accident was reported just minutes after midnight Saturday morning.
According to Mount Desert Police, James Corbett, 36, of Mount Desert died when his bike went off on a curve and struck a curb near the town beach.
Mr. Corbett was declared dead at the scene.
The crash remains under investigation by Mount Desert and an accident reconstruction specialist from the Ellsworth Police Department.
