MMA Alum to Speak April 14



CASTINE — The Maine Maritime Academy Alumni Association will host a lecture by Samuel J. Collins, a graduate of the college’s Class of 1971, on Tuesday, April 14, at 7 p.m. in Delano Auditorium.

The lecture will focus on Collins’ experience within the nuclear power industry.

Collins is the regional administrator of the Nuclear Regulatory Commission’s (NRC) Northeast Region (Region I) in King of Prussia, Pa. He is responsible for implementing NRC’s regional programs at commercial nuclear power plants, decommissioning sites and materials licensees.

The lecture is free and open to the public.
