James Moore, 54, was arrested Aug. 26 on charges of trafficking in marijuana and violating the conditions of his release.

Commander Darrell Crandall of the Maine Drug Enforcement Agency (MDEA) said the arrest followed a two-month investigation into allegations of continued drug dealing by Mr. Moore. Mr. Moore was arrested on a marijuana trafficking charge in February.

“We continued to get information that the activity was ongoing,” Mr. Crandall said.
