Maine State Police log week of May 12

ELLSWORTH — Maine State Police Trooper Owen Reed is investigating a theft of clamming equipment taken from a truck. The theft was reported May 8.


Sgt. Gavin Endre summoned Jacob Murphy, 42, of Surry on charges of violating conditions of his release and drug possession. The charges resulted from a traffic stop in Lamoine May 1, police said.

Two people were summoned after Endre conducted a traffic stop in Lamoine May 2.

Nicole Green, 33, of Ellsworth was summoned on charges of possession of a firearm by a prohibited person and drug possession.

Aaron Gallegos, 30, of Trenton was charged with violating conditions of his release.

On May 3, Endre summoned David Lentz, 22, of Hancock on charges of violating conditions of his release.


A Lubec resident was arrested May 5 after allegedly making threats to harm with a firearm a person at the Lubec Elementary School, said Cpl. Jeff Taylor. The incident caused the school to go into lockdown, Taylor said.

Dari McConnell, 36, was arrested on a charge of terrorizing and given a trespass warning not to return to the school, Taylor said. Sgt. Jeff Ingemi, the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and the Maine Marine Patrol assisted.
