Maine State Police log week of June 30

ELLSWORTH — Maine State Police Trooper Jarid Leonard investigated a report of a fight among four to five men, which turned out to be an agreed upon activity, in Big Lake Township June 25.

“The males jumped the complainant with various types of weapons,” Leonard said. “An investigation was conducted, and it was determined the fight was planned and agreed upon by both parties. The fight ended shortly after and all parties were separated and there were no serious injuries. Charges were not filed for this incident.”
