Maine State Police log week of January 13



ELLSWORTH — The Maine State Police are investigating a single-vehicle crash that occurred on Wyman Road in Milbridge Jan. 2.

Two of three passengers in the vehicle had minor injuries, police said. Another occupant sustained serious but not life-threatening injuries.

Trooper Jarid Leonard and Cpl. Gavin Endre are the primary investigators and said speed and alcohol were factors in the crash.

The Cherryfield Fire Department, Steuben Fire Department, Milbridge Fire Department, Petit Manan Ambulance Service, Pleasant River Ambulance Service and the Washington County Sheriff’s Office assisted in the investigation.

More accidents

A vehicle went off the road, struck a mailbox and then left the scene in Sedgwick Jan. 8, police said.
Trooper Owen Reed summoned the motorist, Bret Ryan, 32, of Sedgwick, on a charge of failure to report an accident by quickest means.

Sgt. Jeff Ingemi assisted.

Summons

Ronald Albee, 43, of Columbia Falls was charged with operating after suspension during a traffic stop in Machias Jan. 2.
