ELLSWORTH — The Maine State Police arrested a Virginia motorist after a crash in Surry Aug. 6.
Trooper David Barnard arrested Kristopher Patrick, 30, on a charge of operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of an intoxicant.
Barnard said Patrick’s vehicle had crashed into a telephone pole off Route 172.
Hancock County Sheriff’s deputies assisted.
Troopers issued several summonses during the past week.
Trooper Caleb McGary summonsed Michael Perlman, 33, of Lamoine on a charge of criminal speed after a traffic stop in Trenton Aug. 9.
Trooper Owen Reed summonsed Laurie Allen, 31, of Blue Hill on a charge of operating after suspension after a traffic stop in Blue Hill Aug. 9.
Reed summoned Deven Hartley-Michaud, 19, of Ellsworth, on a charge of operating after suspension after a traffic stop in Deer Isle Aug. 10.
Criminal Mischief
A Deer Isle mailbox was damaged by fireworks last week. Reed is investigating.
