Maine State Police: Laptops stolen in Stonington, Franklin

ELLSWORTH — The Maine State Police is investigating thefts of laptops in the towns of Stonington and Franklin.

The laptop in Stonington disappeared Oct. 24 and the one in Franklin on Friday.


Trooper Jacob Ferland arrested an Ellsworth man after stopping him for allegedly speeding in Sullivan Saturday.

Ferland arrested Harold Pottle, 41, on two counts of illegal drug possession and one count each of possession of marijuana and trafficking in prison contraband.
