Maine State Police: Franklin burglary under investigation



ELLSWORTH — The Maine State Police is investigating a burglary that was reported in the town of Franklin Saturday. There was no word on what was taken.

Trooper Joshua Lander and Trooper Jacob Ferland arrested Christopher Smith, 35, of Sullivan on a charge of operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of an intoxicant in Hancock Oct. 20.

Police summoned Thomas Hall, 19, of Ellsworth on a charge of possession of a usable amount of marijuana. The charge resulted from troopers checking on a vehicle that had broken down Oct. 21.
