LAMOINE — Possible staff exposure to COVID-19 has led the Lamoine town office to operate on a limited schedule, according to a Dec. 6 post on the town’s Facebook page.
Starting Monday, Dec. 7, only one staff member will be working in the office. Consequently, office hours may vary if the one staff member must attend to personal appointments.
Residents are urged to use the town’s online resources on its website, www.lamoine-me.gov, to conduct necessary transactions.
Residents also can conduct transactions over the phone by calling 667-2242. The post directs those who call when the office is closed to leave a message.
Meetings will continue to be held via Zoom videoconferencing.
“We apologize for any inconvenience, but we want to keep our residents and our staff safe from virus spread,” the post concludes.
