Tobacco cessation class in Blue Hill July 29, 2018 on Health, News BLUE HILL — Healthy Acadia is partnering with the Maine Cancer Foundation to offer a free, four-week tobacco cessation group course in Blue Hill. The course uses the American Cancer Society’s Fresh Start curriculum. The classes will provide evidence-based tools and resources in a supportive, fun environment to help people quit tobacco and stay tobacco-free. The class will be held at Tradewinds in Blue Hill on Thursdays from 9 to 10 a.m. beginning Aug. 2 and continuing through Aug. 23. The course is free and open to the public, but registration is required. There will be an opportunity for individuals to continue with additional support in a one-on-one environment after the group class curriculum is completed.
