Support groups starting in July June 23, 2018 on Health, News ELLSWORTH — Hospice Volunteers of Hancock County has announced a series of support groups for those who are grieving and for those experiencing multiple losses associated with aging. A support group for those who have lost a loved one to suicide will be held Mondays, July 9 through Aug. 27, from 1 to 3 p.m. at St. Francis by the Sea Church in Blue Hill. A support group for those who have lost a loved one (any relationship) will be held Mondays, July 9 through Aug. 27, from 5-7 p.m. at the Unitarian Universalist Church in Ellsworth. An Aging and Loss workshop will be offered Thursdays, July 12 through Aug. 16, from 1 to 2:30 p.m. at the Friends in Action Senior Center in Ellsworth. All of these groups are free of charge but participants need to register at least a week in advance to allow time for group preparation.
